Omani rebar producer Sharq Sohar Steel Rolling Mills (Sohar Steel) is doubling its steel production capacity with an upgraded meltshop and new rolling mill, a spokesman told Steel First on Wednesday April 23. Sohar Steel has upgraded its 350,000-tpy steel meltshop at Sohar Port in Oman to a capacity of 750,000 tpy, the spokesman said.
