I came across an article about another Davy three cylinder rolling mill engine:- 16,000 HP at 120 rpm. Built in about 1904 for Dorman Long of Middlesbrough to drive their heavy girder mill. Perhaps it rolled girders for the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The crankshaft was forged in one piece by Cammell Laird of Sheffield.

Salem and I are in the process of build a set of rolling mills. The minimum is 1/2hp at 20rpm. Make sure your gear box is designed to put out the required torque.
