Note in the lower-right that several belts are used to drive a little pulley by a big pulley that is driven directly by the PTO shaft from the tractor. The little pulley would be on the axle of the hammer mill which grinds the grain and that axle turns significantly faster than the standard 540 RPM of the PTO shaft.
