Depending on the compound mixed the friction can range from 1:1.1 for a standard mixing mill, 1:1.25 for silicone or plastics mills, 1:1.8 for breaker mills for new rubber, 1:2.5 for refiner mills with narrow gap of 0.05 mm, up to 1:3.2 for breaker mills for old rubber.
