Re: Calculation of motor power for roller conveyer 05/04/2010 10:44 AM I agree it is possible to predict the power needed with statics although it would be very difficult to predict the affect of: dirt between the load and roller, absorbed energy if the conveyed items have any give at the interface, irregular load surface if the items "bump along" as they go.
