The grinder dust stays in the air surprisingly long. It is so small and light that I can hold a shop vac hose about 3 or 4 feet from the cloud and you can watch it suck it in. I'm pretty sure I would be breathing that stuff. That's also why I'm redoing all the dust collection in my shop. At least as soon as all the stuff I ordered gets here.
