This tool & cutter grinder is old enough to have the flat belt drive for the spindle. K.O. Lee obsoleted the flat belt drive spindles in favor of V belt drive some years ago. The spindle supplied with the tool & cutter grinder has a small female taper at one end, and a 5/8" diameter plain shaft, threaded for a lock nut, at the drive end.
