A small hydraulic press for V-bending operation is designed, manufactured and modeled. The hydraulic bending press consists of hydraulic circuit, punch, die and PLC control unit. Automation studio and SimHydraulic in Matlab/Simulink library are used to model the hydraulic circuit. Using PLC program, the bending operation is controlled.
